Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. With a rather lengthy title and obvious play on alliteration, you might be curious about the sort of content you can expect to find here. My reasoning for the creation of SSS originates from my passion on a variety of topics, including neurology, myths, spirituality, health & wellness, and nature. So, one can think of this as a place to explore everything from the mysteries of the brain to the connections we make through storytelling and helping others find daily inspiration.
To elaborate a bit more, I write about fictional accounts based partly on facts; subjects that merge science, spirituality, and the strange; tales of horror that intersect hope; and other random topics that help us find purpose in a world that can sometimes make us feel a little defeated.
I write for the once broken who are becoming stronger every day; the never-ending dreamer who is putting forth action into reality; and to the inquisitive stargazer and appreciator of life’s abundance and mysteries, whether experienced directly or on the outside looking in.
Throughout this journey, here are a few ideas I hope to develop and share with you:
(1) Stories evolve from some of our most basic interactions with the world around us, through either direction participation or as the thoughtful observer.
(2) People will never cease to amaze you when at their lowest rising to their highest.
(3) Our ancestors are never ending echoes of our past directing us toward our future.
(4) It’s perfectly okay to be a little weird and makes life even more interesting.
(5) You can accept and follow science while also having a strong foundation of faith.
(6) Everyone has the power to offer comfort and a certain degree of healing to others; sometimes that’s needed through words of encouragement, other times through simply listening.
(7) Life is enjoyed most through the unity of our potential to live through it as an artist and within it as an explorer of wonder and science. We are active members regardless of the viewpoint.
